FM Wonderkids after Two Seasons!- GKs and DEFs

Here is a list of wonderkids in FM 2010, starting with GKs and DEFs. This is them after two seasons on FM. Obvisouly, their attributes will vary on your game, but hopefully you will find this interesting. I will add in more positions soon. Above is Davide Santon. I would say he has potential to be one of the best DR's in the game. Of course he has drawback of high price but I would recommend him.

The same can be said of Azpilicueta, who I would rate as probably even better than Santon, by virtue of his higher tackling.

Insua is of course one of my players. He has developed amazingly, mainly I think due to the training schedule I have got. He is now one of the best DL's in EPL.

Bale is another good DL player in Premiership. He moved to Hull at the start of the second season. I wouldn't rate him as highly as Insua, but he is still a decent player.

Papadopoulos is still very young, still only 19! He has decent if not oustanding attributes.

Otamendi is a fine player. He moved to Marsielle at the start of the fist season for only $5m. He has amazing physical attributes but is quite small for a DC.

One of the best young Defenders in the game. Sakho isn't that quick, but is very strong and good in the air. I would recommend him.

Breno is another good player. He is very strong in the air and has decent pace stats as well. He is a good allround defender.

Areola is possibly the brightest talent in the game. As you can see I have taken the oppurtunity to snap him up after R.Madrid stupidly transfer listed him, and I hope he can develop into a great GK.

Asenjo is a good young goalkeeper and has been At. Madrid's first choice for 2 seasons now. He has a relativley low price and could become a very good player.

Fiorillo has very good reflexes but is slightly under par everywhere else. Because of this I don't rate him as highly as Asenjo or Areola, but he still has the potential to be a decent player.
That's all for now, and please comment if you like it.

Liverpool are the Champions!

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Liverpool have won the Premier Division. Here are all the results dating back to the end of January. The 4-1 win at Chelsea was paticulary pleasing, with the team producing a great performance away from home. The last win, against Newcastle confirmed us as champions, and it was a very happy day for the Liverpool fans.

Unfortnatley we were dumped out of the Champions League at the quarter final stage by Man City. This was paticulary disappointing as we had gotw a decent 1-1 draw away in the 1st leg. Matters were not helped by Mascherano and Skrtel both getting sent off, and Tevez punished us with a superb hat-trick. The Champions League is definetly the target for next season, but we do have the FA Cup Final against Arsenal coming up, so hopefully can win another trophy.

Winning the league this early also means I can give the youngsters a run, and keep everyone fresh. Unfortunatley Riera broke his leg in a recent match and is now out for 4 months. There will be another post about the Arsenal game soon, and that will include the season stats. Keep playing Football Manager for now, FM fans!

Signings and Stats So Far!

I would like to fill you in about signings that have been made so far in my FM story. In the first season I signed Andre-Pierre Gignac. He cost $10.75m and in the first season scored 16 goals in 26 games before getting injured.Another signing in Jan 2010 was Angel Di Maria to give me more options out wide. He now has good attributes of Dribbling-17, Crossing-17, Pace-16, accelaration-17 and has become a very impportant player for me. In Aug 2010 I signed Alexis Sanchez because he is very quick and skilful and gives me more options because of his versatility.

In the first season Ryan Babel was sold to Bordeaux for $13m which I feel is a very good price for someone as inconsistent as him. Andrea Dossena was also sold in the first season along with Andriy Voronin as I felt these players were just not good enough to play for liverpool. In Jan 2011 Daniel Agger was sold after he started complaining about wanting a new challenge. I got a good price of $16.75m for him. Also sold was David Ngog for $7m to Marsielle.

Havard Nystad is regen DC and has potential to become a very good player. You can see his attributes above. Also above is the current League Table, so you can see how far ahead I am and how comfortably I should win the league.

Above is also player stats from the season which shows how fantastically Torres, Gignac and Gerrard have performed. That's all for now, I will fill you in on the final results of the season soon. Keep reading and please comment!
